My car (2003 Ford econoline van) was stolen and many parts were removed and/or ruined. James and his team were extremely helpful in diagnosing the problems, offering solutions, and fixing everything. He was really upfront about how much different things would cost (extremely reasonable prices) and got everything fixed way faster than I thought would be possible. James called me consistently throughout the repair process to let me know how things were going and to make sure I was on board with all of the repairs. I cannot recommend this place enough. Incredible service all around. THANK YOU JAMES.

James runs a great shop! Randomly wandered into Motor Tech a few years ago needing a vehicle inspection, and have been bringing him all my cars ever since. Friendly, good communication, good prices, and honest work.

I recently had my valve cover gasket replaced on my 2001 Lexus RX 300 at Motor Tech Auto Repairs, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service. The entire team at the shop creates an amazing community that genuinely cares about you and your vehicle. 🚗🔧 Special shoutout to Curley and James (the genius) Both are incredibly hardworking, passionate, and down-to-earth individuals. They transformed a routine repair into an enjoyable learning experience, and I genuinely enjoyed spending my Saturday afternoon with them. 🤗 Not only did they expertly fix my car, but they also took the time to teach me about the process, making it a fun and educational experience. I would definitely return, even just to hang out with these fantastic folks. Highly recommend! 👨‍🔧

Jay and His Crew is the best. They Installed my brakes calipers cover, mud-flaps and made sure car is in pristine condition before they call me to pick it up. They know their stuff when it comes to my Tesla 2023 Model Y. Highly recommended. Price was very reasonable and the shop is welcoming for any customers.

Motor Tech truly stands out for honest, reliable service. There were no surprise price increases—just straightforward work done right. It’s refreshing to find a shop that makes you feel comfortable and respected, especially for us ladies. James genuinely takes care of your car and looks out for your best interests. The whole team was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. This is absolutely the kind of shop you can trust and keep coming back to. Thanks so much, guys!

The team at motor tech resurrected my Honda Pilot after a fruitless ten weeks of dealing with the Honda service center San Leandro, Honda service center in Oakland, and Honda Motors directly. Awful experience with selling for salvage the only reasonable solution despite open recalls. Really shakes my faith in the brand I’ve trusted for 30 years. I reached out to James as a last ditch attempt, and his expertise was impressive. Motor tech went above and beyond to fix the engine, and even made additional repairs for discovered issues at parts pricing or no cost. Their work = one less car in the junkyard. Highly recommend for major repair issues!
